X2 trap with peanut butter in trap caught the mouse with Fresh Cab bag next to the trap.

What is fresh cab? I have never heard of it. Has anyone tried the new Mint-x rodent repellent garbage bags? They have a mint smell to them and are supposed to repel rodents.

I have heard a lot of people with the same experience. Assuming it is roof ducted AC, where is the point of entry for these guys?

We used cab fresh , peppermint oil and dryer sheets. Also kept all food out and they still got in. The only thing that helped was to find openings and put steel wool in them, set mouse traps and had success. Good luck I hate those buggers.

Gee,,, I don't have a mouse problem in this rig.

Two of our housemates (Amber and Alex) make sure of it. They are rodent deterrent specialists. And they purr nice too.

Fresh Cab is a product that originally was made to put into the cabs on farm equipment like tractors and combines to ward off rodents during the winter months. I purchased mine over the internet, but do not remember the vendor. If I remember correctly, it was not exactly cheap. Like I said in my earlier post, I really am not sure if it works.

Not sure. Must have chewed through the duct somewhere. Looked in there with a scope but couldn't find a hole. Found a lot of construction debris and mouse evidence. How I noticed was when I turned on a/c and silver insulation material was flying out.

I had mice and was doing OK with the snap traps but decided that repelling them was a better idea went to Tractor Supply and bought Fresh Cab at @ $15 a box.

Smelled really good and as a bonus lured in 3 new mice that died while stealing peanut butter off my snap trap.

Finally found where the critters were sneaking in and used the steel wool trick.

Moral of the story. The only sure fix for mice is blocking every single entrance a mouse can get in and that is no easy task.

Seen a show on History channel quite a few years ago, was a man out in the wilderness by himself studying the white Wolf.
He was out there several months, long enough to run out of supplies & some due to mice getting into the food containers.
After doing much study, he was finding the Wolfs main food was those very mice getting into his supplys.
Hungry & not much of a survivelist, cold & out of food, he turned to those mice invading his hut to eat. Once the mice coming in seen they were on the dinner plate, no more mice were to be seen.
Lucky for him though, his study time was over for the white Wolf & his ride out of the wilderness was there to pick him up.
So the story is, what you eat, normally wont come around & you'll have to go find it, but mice, I just dont know about that, but I've never been that hungry.
