OK. Call me what you will. Redneck. Pimp. whatever

Does anyone know of a company that sells LED lights to go underneath a toy hauler? Maybe some LED rope lights or something similar. They would be nice to have at the campgrounds and fun to have going down the highway. I figure a nice blue haze underneath would be perfect.

I've seen this done many times. The one that I looked at, the guy just used standard rope lights with the round plastic clips and had them screwed in under the rig every 18 inches or so. He had his connected to the inverted 110 outlet. I'm sure you could wire it a couple different ways depending on what you want to do.

Be aware that that nice blue haze might get you a ticket.

In some areas the use of blue lights is restricted to police and emergency vehicles.

You will LOVE these... I got a set for my movie room because they are infinite color - true RGB. I liked them so much I got another set to accent my kitchen.

The remote lets you select from 24 preset colors, or you can dim each Red, Green, and Blue part of the strip, or go all white. They also run off 12Vdc, just wire them into any 12v source. They draw next to nothing, 2 amps at full bright. They're also daisy-chainable, so one controller can work more than one strip.

Ebay RGB waterproof LED lights

But, yes, you're buying from China directly, so shipping takes 3-ish weeks.

I used the waterproof LED kit with 3 extra rolls from this Amazon Link

It has a remote and can even dance to sound! Millions of color combinations or use the built-in color demos.

Wired right into my TH 12v system!

What's work? Oh, playing in the sand in the Southwest!

Thanks all. Some great links to check out.

I don't know why, but with all due respect, we ain't as "tight" in the south as the states out west. I have absolutely zero concern over being stopped for a blue haze underneath my camper and truck. If I ever do get pulled, I'll just switch colors.

Great Idea! Remember purple sex lights for under your dash? I still have two in case I ever get another street rod.
