Over the past few years after regular rotation of tires, I have noticed a significant uneven tire wear on the port/driver side of my RV tires compared to starboard/passenger side. Dual axle setup. Ideas? Fixes? Original tires since 2005 with above average use/mileage.
Type of tire would be helpful.....but a 7 year old trailer tire is near record use....without blowout....I would replace all five and see if wear occurs.....since 3-5 yrs is max life of ST s.....
On a trailer, take it to a trailer specialty shop and have them check the alignment. They can realign by bending the axles, probably for several hundred dollars. that corrected my uneven tire ware.
"Transmaster", made in Taiwan. 235/80/16, 5 ply, load range D. The wear is realtivley even all the way across on driver side, but outsides are more worn than middle. Max is 65 PSI, tow them at 63 PSI all the way around. I was wrong on the year, original tires since 2006, not 2005.
