Is iTunes or QuickTime installed, whether you use it or not?

It's not required if you don't use Apple software, but it didn't get on your system by itself.

I'd dump the Dell and keep the software. But if you must, go add/delete programs find 'em and delete the 2 of them.

If you have an iPhone/IPad you may want to keep iTunes but otherwise you can delete all apple software off of your Windows based PC.

If you don't use iTunes/Quicktime or any other Apple product/program you can delete them. They often get installed when somebody installs iTunes or if it shipped with it.

It most likely came from iTunes. Unfortunately, there is a lot of bloatware included in a standard install. Most users find they don't need Bonjour. You can uninstall it and still keep iTunes if you are using it.

I-Tunes is one of those programs that border on mal-ware,, Many good and decent programs want you to install I-Tunes or some other I-Wares, You have to be viligent and un-tick all those check boxes.. Even then it will object and say "Do you really not want this I-Stuff". and so on.

Or you can just ignore it.. Your choice.

Bonjour also comes installed with a HP printer. It appears that it is used for networking printers, especially HP. Lots of luck in uninstalling it. It pops up like a dirty shirt. Believe me, I know how to get rid of things on a PC, but this one is like a nasty virus. Fortunately it doesn't cause any problem. But if it came with Itunes, it is a typical Apple issue that installs every Apple program it can including mobile support without giving you a choice to not install. Most of us call it Apple bloatware.

I uninstall Itunes and Quicktime as a matter of course when trying to speed up/repair someone else's computer.

If uninstalling, use Revo Uninstaller. Freeware, and effectively removes all bits & pieces of a program.
