We have been keeping out TT up in the White Mountains for the summer at a very nice, secure RV storage facility in Lakeside. The place is full up with a waiting list but for $25 a month it has been wonderful to just drive the truck up there, hook up and then head to one of the many beautiful CG's located in the area. Our site is between a large fiver and a larger (40') Class A and we fit between them just fine.

Monday we drive up, hook up and head down the road to Show Low Lake. Both of the rigs on either side were there. This morning we return to drop off the TT and head home and what do we find?? Mr Class A has torn up his site by spinning his tires in the gravel digging several deep ruts so what does he do? You guessed it, just parks his rig across our site completely blocking us out and drives off in his Toad. He didn't say word one to the on duty manager.

The manager was very nice but more than a little annoyed and she scrambled to find us the only other available slot that fortunately had just opened up. The chucklehead with the Class A likely will be looking for somewhere else to park after this little stunt. Had we arrived after the office closed we would have been screwed. What is the matter with people? I understand he had a problem, (of his own creation because he doesn't know how to drive his rig), but why anonymously make it someone else' problem and just drive away without so much as a phone call. As noted here many times.... You just can't fix stupid!

As stated, he needs to be towed off the property, not just told he can't use the facility anymore. The owner didn't mention having his rig towed?

Perhaps - and this is just playing devil's advocate - he left to find someone to pull him out...that is probably not the case, but maybe that's what he was doing. Still yet tho he should have promptly informed the owner/office of what was happening.

Unfortunately you'll find that type everywhere you go but on the fortunate side, not very many. It's always nice when they get their 'just rewards' for their behavior though. Always puts a smile on MY face anyway.

My storage yard *specifically* has a clause in the contract that states if you park in another person's spot without:

1. Notifying the office

or

2. Providing a means for the other person to IMMEDIATELY contact you

...your rig will be towed and your contract canceled.

That was one of the major reasons why I chose my particular storage lot.

Sorry for your troubles.
