The Pleasureway Ad on this site has loud noises (horn blowing) and other little sounds.
Do I have to mute my speakers to enjoy this site?

Nope, just get Firefox, if not using it already and then get Adblock. That will silence the horn blower!

That horn noise was very annoying, I use Firefox but didn't have Adblock. I have installed it now, thanks for the tip.

It's too bad they allow annoying ads on the site that drive us to block all ads, not good for the advertisers that don't have obnoxious ads.

I found the horn-honking very intrusive as well.

Someone wrote about this last night as well. I just keep my sound muted until I need it. Saves me from jumping out of my seat when visiting sites that have loud, obnoxious ads like that trying to get your attention.

If you don't want to opt for keeping the sound off til needed, install ad blocker.

Simple AdBlock Plus will also work on IE8 and IE9. I resisted blocking ads for a long time because it's usually the ads that pay for websites. However, intrusive ads that plaster pop ups over the website's content, played loud, raucious music or loud sounds, etc. became so numerous, I got fed up and purchased Simple Adblock.
