.

mumkin ,

The 3500 Ext ( 24' ) is the longest for the USA market - that is 16" longer .

There is a new manufacturer coming to market in the fall that will use electric appliances and a diesel generator . This allows deletion of the propane tank and plumbing , giving more room for
larger tanks and additional batteries .

Actually I was wondering if the extended Sprinter can be imported to the North American market with the sliding doors on both sides. It is the driver side sliding door that has allowed the addition of a slide.

Personally I don't want to get rid of propane. I like having the option. Not to mention that if you get rid of "plumbing," you don't need tanks... yes?

.

mumkin ,

The MB Sprinter can be ordered for the USA market with both left and right side sliding doors , and many other worthwhile options , but getting a manufacturer to order the chassis is a real struggle ! None that I talked to were willing to do that - they want you to use their stock items .

I discovered extra heavy duty front and rear suspension and axles , along with a heated front windshield , and additional AGM batteries installed at the MB factory ( warranty ) .

MB has a four month lead time to deliver a unit to the USA . I have exchanged information with a new rv manufacturer that exclusively builds on the MB 3500 Ext unit . I will post more info as things continue .

I have a .pdf copy of the MB dealer order book with all options , codes , and prices - PM if you would like a copy .

One new manufacturer of Class Bs on a Sprinter is Advanced RV out of Wiloughby, Ohio.

That isn't the one... since they have 3 way fridges. Sadly slim website though.
