so... the consensus is to either 1: turn down the sound and try to figure out later why all of a sudden the other stuff with sound is not working anymore. 2: block all the ads so there is no more ad revenue, 3: come in via a different portal. all annoying (like the noisy ad). option 4: remove the annoying ad! come on guys, you are pissing off your customer base!
ps: just counted 3 threads about the stupid ads on the Class A forum alone.
pps: just installed adblock. no more ads, no more revenue for the site from me. i will un-block when i find out the stupid, annoying, noisy ad is gone.

The Honking sound is working! How many times has the word "Pleasureway" been mentioned in this post? And I think there are other posts complaining about the annoying sound. Plus the folks who are on Woodalls and have blockers now know about the Pleasureway ad. That's what ads are supposed to do....get your attention. It's working!

I am glad to see there is a large recognition that this ad with the blaring horn is a problem. I noted as such to a moderator several days ago. In my case the horn activates the two small dogs in the house causing them to run around barking trying to find the intruder....

That is the conventional in the ad business (actually not. It's old school). It used to be that if you annoy someone, they will remember your name but forget that you annoyed them. Not so much anymore. All the mentions of this ad owner are negative on here and us older folks are kind of crotchety so, when we resolve to "punish" some one, we do. I don't know what P'way is and I don't intend to look it up.

There are more than one way to access this Forum. I always used RV.net until it started doing strange things. Someone suggested trying Woodalls.com and it has worked flawlessly - no ads - no popups - no horns!! Try it - you'll like it.

They say that there is no such thing as bad press, but they are very wrong. There are many companies that I will not deal with due to their very annoying or poor taste ads. Pleasure Way has just added themselves to the list. A local radio station used to have some ads that I found offensive to the point that every time the ad came in I hit the button to change station. I called in once on their open line program to mention it and now the add is no longer on. Not saying it was me but . . .
