We have a 2008 Jayco Desinger 35 RLSA. Yesterday I noticed a crack from the right rear corner of our cook top going back to the wall of the camper. Anyone know if this is repairable?

Hmmm - 2008, What kind on countertop?

Our 2007 Montana has a fiberglass counter and it was not repairable. However in 2008 they went to Corian and it may be.

If your countertop is corian it can be repaired. If it is craqcked that is often caused by using a long screw underneath the corian to attach something to it. to find a company to repair do a ggogle search for corian repair near your location.

And Corian used to have a 10 year warranty! On my 96 Hitchhiker Champagne, they sent a repairman out to fix the 6 year old Corian top on the bar that had cracked! No charge to me. Check your papers that came with your rig. Good luck!

Thanks but it's not Corian. They call it lite-gran according to there web site. I didn't learn much looking at it so will just have to contact a dealer on Monday.

It's still probably a solid plastic table top & all of them can be repaired.

Yep thats the stuff we have. It was all replaced under warranty as we developed spider cracks around the sink drains. The company went to an "improved" formula and the colors didn't match so our Dealer did it all.

Lite Gran

(I noticed the second picture on their website is a 2007 Montana 2955RL)

You can probably get it repaired, but I don't know if the repair will blend to the point you can't see it like Corian. If mine had issues again, I would probably just replace it all with Corian. I could even order the pieces in Corian because they use it in my model now.

Good luck with the fix - That kind of stuff is dis-heartening, expecially if you like your RV.

called my dealer today just to see what the cost is to get a new counter top. I was told to sit down because it was $2900.00 and that's not installed.
