Just ran across this article about tire recall that includes some LT tires.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/26/travel/tire-recall/index.html?iref=obnetwork

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

there are always a lot of recalled tires out there with more added each month…

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company (Cooper) is recalling certain Cooper brand Discoverer H/T tires, sizes LT235/85R16 and P265/70R17;
Discoverer LSX, size 265/70R17;
Mastercraft Courser HTR, size LT235/85R16.
Del-Nat Delta A/S Sierradial or National A/S Commando, size 265/70R17;
Pep Boys Definity Dakota H/T, size P265/70R16
TBC Sigma Stampede Radial SUV, size P265/70R17.

Other recalls should be checked as well…

Forest River is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Shasta Revere recreational vehicles. The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) and cargo carrying capacity specification is incorrect on the Federal certification label and the tire information label.

Tiffin is recalling certain model year 2006 through 2010 Allegro and Allegro Bay recreational vehicles equipped with Bosch hydraulic brakes.

Prevost is recalling certain model year 2009-2012 Volvo 9700 motor coaches. Due to a software error, the vehicles may come to a sudden stop by brake application

Thor Motor Coach (TMCRV) is recalling certain model year 2008-2010 Outlaw and model year 2011 Avanti recreational vehicles manufactured from January 24, 2008, through September 28, 2010, equipped with Bosch hydraulic disc brakes.

Check here for recalls for your unit…

WOW! I had no idea Michelin has owned BFG since 1988. Another of my favorite brands sold out to a company I can't stand. Maybe that's why the set of All Terrain TAs I had on my Bronco wandered all over the road. I thought the front end was just worn out from miles, but when I replace the tires with another brand, it tracked like new.

Oh well,

I was hoping some would check the recalls for their RVs and offer some feed back about the link to the website I provided and it completeness or accuracy… but that’s ok…
I have posted it at least once before with no feedback then either…

Sorry to tell you nothing has changed except who owns them They are still made to their own specs.

Many of us are using BFGoodrich Commercial LT tires on our trailers.
