Present I have a Reese Signature 18K (year 2008) hitch and want to upgade to a 24K same style hitch, I believe now they call it the Elite Series. But the same part numbers are present.
My question is do I have to purchase a new complete hitch system or can I use the same old rails and hitch face plate and only purchase the side supports if possible ?

You can re-use the rails but everything else will be different. Make sure you have the center bolts in the rails.

I don't believe the Signature and Elite are the same. There may be some part that interchange. The Elite series is what Ford uses as their factory installed hitch. A Signature will fit on the Ford under-bed mounts with an adapter.
