Our toilet (Thetford Bravia), I found was leaking. I was finding moisture running down the pipe, so I removed the toilet. Upon removal, it looked like the foot valve was leaking (It wouldn't keep water in the bowl, either).
Sooo, I check for parts. A new valve is $68+ shipping, and floor gasket was $25 with shipping. So we decide to buy a new toilet (Dometic 510H).
I installed the toilet, it works great, and we love the height of the toilet.....
But it is leaking like the old toilet! I am not finding moisture anywhere on the floor.
Do I need a new flange or......Thanks for any or all help!!!

where is it leaking if no water on the floor?
if it is the water leaking out of the bowl, you should be able to get some resolution from where you bought it.

Try tightening the closet bolts a little OR, if you made them too tight, try loosening a turn or two.

With that explanation in mind.....p\u a new flange. You really should have sprung for that initially.

You might have to cut the pipe in the basement to replace the floor flange. Sound like its cracked and leaking water around the "outside" of the waste pipe. It really is a simple fix if you have good access to the pipe.

First try using a wax ring with the extension, just like the one that Lowes sells for less than $5.00. I am not sure why RVs have a rubber gasket, maybe that it easier to handle at the factory and not as messy, but the wax ring will work fine.
