Water was dripping from the bottom of my fiver. Took the pan off the bottom so I could have a look and found a large pin hole leak by the neck of the gray tank. Pulled out the wet insulation.
Are there any products I can get to repair this myself?
Also heard about plastic welding?
Thanks for your help.
Will try to call some dealers tomorrow.....heading towards Rochester,NY

If I could reach the area, I would try eternabond

I fixed my white tank with epoxy by tipping it toward the hole and letting it all drip out, then tipping the unit away from the hole and heating it with a heat gun until a dry towel that I was able to put inside the cracked fitting didn't come out wet. I cleaned it and buffed it up, cleaned it again with alcohol and liberally piled on the epoxy all around it and let it dry for longer than the instructions say. It worked for many years, and I didn't worry about the fitting because if it didn't work it was going to have to be removed anyway.

Another thing to try might be to put a stainless hose clamp around the neck so the epoxy has something to grip against. Put the epoxy all over the hose clamp so that it makes a good ring and holds that hole shut.

Yeah JB Water Weld or some of that epoxy putty for plastics should work. Eternabond I would use if I was away from home and needed a quick fix.

Don't use eternabond...use this stuff especially made for ABS.

We had the tank on our previous SOB plastic welded. Cost about $100.00.

Agree with jsr21, If you can get to the leak the best thing to use is Plastic-Medi. It's liquid abs plastic and it goes on with a brush. Love them Zweiglers hots and Nick Taho's. lived in Rocherter for 28 yrs

The gray water tanks I have seen are not ABS. ABS will be black. If ABS, lots of choices. If it is a milky colored material, it is probably polypropylene or polypropylene. That limits your choices but there are a few epoxies coming on the market that will work. Read the application table on the packages to get the right stuff.
