HOLY MOLY

HOLY COW

NO WAY! the loss is great.

$12,000 more they want if I want to trade for that Sierra (which was MSRP only 2K more than my wildcat)

I almost fainted

I love my wildcat. I love my wildcat. oh yes I will love it for a few more years!

whew.

I never checked into a trade so fast. I just can't do it. I knew the numbers would be scary but this was downright horrifying.

So what year span are we taliking about?

We bought our 2005 in 2009. The other day I found the original bill of sale, SOld for 34k. We paid 14k. A 58% drop in actual selling price in 4 years. Who knows what it would eb if I startes with "MSRP".

I'm sure we could find one we like better to blow our money on (maybe a bunk model) but ours is in perfect shape and fits our needs well.
That doesn't stop me from going to RV shows and dreaming though!

Sounds like you have a positive outlook.

I used to be pathetic second guessing what I did, but I cured that. When I sign, I quit looking and that goes for campers, cars, computers, cell phones......and thats just the "c" words

Thanks for following up with us - we were rooting for you!

If you REALLY want to move it do/sell it yourself? That will get you a whole lot closer the what you have in it.

It was a whim when I saw the other floorplan.

I am actually very happy with this wildcat. the other floorplan 'just catches' my eye enough to make me check a trade.

it is ok. I checked, found out and had a small cardiac problem for a few seconds, and then realized down the road in life is another camper, better floorplan, nicer graphics, more gadgets etc. in my future! at least I hope so.

I will use it fully. Enjoy the heck out of it. And just forget about campers at this point and have fun with what I own.

it is all good!

Yeah, when I went to trade, the stealership's offer put us $10k in the hole. I told them to pound sand and put it on Craigslist. Still came out $1k short, but obviously it was an improvement.
