Adding in a remote control unit for the slide room and the electric awning. My slide room moves on a DC motor actuator not hydraulic. The slide-out is direct wired to the switch with huge wires (8 ga) with no relays. The remote control unit has 2 relays in it that are 40 amp each. My concern is if these relays are enough for the slide room motor.

The Lippert 12ft slide on rig in sig has a spec for a 30amp fuse on the slide motor's pos wire that goes on the battery post.

I have seen up to 27amps on the Trimetric when the slide is first coming in over the hump but once up and over going across the floor amps drop off to 15ish.

Some people have slides that move easier than that though.

Mine draws 10 or 12 amps. Maybe 15 to 18 at stall.
Good excuse to get a DC clamp on ammeter
