We did exactly that two years ago with a leather reclining loveseat from Costco. We have been very pleased with the change. The sleep/sofa that came out now lives in our basement for when all the grandkids come for holiday visits.

Ours was cloth and very comfortable. It just fit in the slide. We found it at a Lazy Boy Store. We sold the trailer with it in it. That was a mistake. Will buy another this year when we go to Quartzsite.

We have 2 Lambright recliners. Love them. They also make a Loveseat Recliner.

The sofa in our TT was very uncomfortable for everyone but the dogs so we went to lazyboy and bought a loveseat wall hugger recliner that fits perfectly in the space. We have now been caught falling asleep while watching TV much to the disgust of the dogs who hoped to claim that entire space.

We went from a sofa/bed to two recliners that turned out to be a PITA for stowage/use and ended up with a wall hugger reclining loveseat. MUCH better. JMHO

Did anyone have problems getting the lovesaets in through the RV door?

Ours came with the backs as separate pieces. After getting them inside, you just slid the backs on. I think many of them are made the same way. Getting the old, heavy, folding, sofa bed out was a much harder job!
