I see a gymnastic type event - Carrying the tray of food & cooking apparatus from the rig to the picnic table. Extra points for fifth wheel steps and of course those who risk carrying chef knives.
As far as the blindfolded backing event - DH & I organized an annual event for our sailing club. It was a blindfolded dinghy race. Oarsman was blindfolded, mate gave directions. It was a blast! Well...unless you got hit with someone's oar...

If you could get someone to sponsor it all the manufactures of RV's could bring there new ones to show and the people would come to camp, watch the show, and look at new RV's. It's be like a RV show that's fun instead of boring.
Don't forget the braking event, where rigs will be tested with random darting cars who immediately brake upon arrival in front of you. How quick can your rig go 60 to zero? Points deduction if you break dinnerware inside from the quick stop.
Dh and my son are fans of dead-weight uphill truck drag races. First athlete is driving a Ford Ranger towing a 38' Coachman. He does have a break controller though.... Will he make it to the top of the cg hill????
