Hi folks....we have a question...maybe the answer is on this site but we couldn't find it.
We have a class c 24 foot Majestic...and no tv antenna. We take some long rv trips each summer and it would be nice to be able to watch local tv stations.
Camping World offers Winegard Sensar iii motorized batwing antenna for $259.99 plus $134 to install it.
Anyone think this is a good idea? Anyone have one of these antennas? Does it work well?
Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Dee & John

If you do consider the Winegard, there is no need to pay for the motorized version. No big deal to crank it up or down IMHO.

Make your own free for reception ability equal to Winegard batwing.

Although I have the Winegard crankup, I have heard a lot of good stuff about the new JACK antenna on a crank-up base. Apparently it does not need to be rotated, and is more wind resistant than the batwing. Check out both and the prices, I don't think that you can go wrong with either.

Get a good amplifier.
The good Weingards come with an amp built in.
