Marcus, I'm in Canada, and a while back I looked at the application process for the new Pilot Flying J card. Normally in Canada we don't have to provide our Social Insurance Number (SIN) when applying for credit products, in line with Canadian privacy legislation. I do understand that you are basically a US company. The online process requires the SIN, and I tried by telephone as well, but they could not change that.
I don't know if you are using Canadian credit bureaux to do the credit checks for Canadian members, but if you are, I'm sure they can complete the process without having the SIN, since they must do it all the time.
Could you look into whether this can be changed.
Thanks.

FlyingMoose,
As a contingency of establishing credit, we at PFJ do require the SIN or the SSN when applying for the application. If you are uncomfortable providing that information online, please call 855-478-7587 and we can take the application over the phone and discuss the issue further. Thank you.
