"Allegro" is a model name from Tiffin. The others are manufacturers with many models each.

I really have always liked Winnebago fro quality.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Your price point will be the deciding factor. Diesel or gas?

We and many other friends we know have been vey happy with Forest River Georgetown motor homes.
It was the best selling brand of gas motorhomes for a few years.

Looking for used gas because they are a little more
reasonable. But would consider a diesel. Those brands I listed
are kind of middle of road ones and less pricey. Can't
afford top of the line. Price range $20 to 30k.
