Well all I can say is find another one. We bought a new motor home from Camping World in Aug of 2009. The motor home was good for a first time buy, but the service after the sale was horrible. We took out an extended wartrenty with Camping World on the MH when we bought it new. BAD MISTAKE! We used the motor home about 2 years and decided we wanted another one. This time we went to the Tiffin plant in Red Bay, AL. WOW no wonder people love Tiffin motor homes. We decided to order one after visiting RB. Our brand new baby came on May 23 and we cancelled our extended warrenty with Camping World on this day since we no longer had the motor home from camping world. Well here it is going on 3 months and they still have NOT refunded our money. Now do they pay you interest on your MONEY.... NO! This has taken way too long to get our refund from Camping World. Glad So glad we will not have to deal with Camping World anymore. Now how much longer will I have to wait to get my extended warrenty from them......this is BAD BUSINESS. Think before you buy....we will never buy a motor home from Camping World again. Any one had any dealing with Camping World and how long did it take you to get your refund back after you cancelled it. Maybe you can tell me what I need to do to get my refund.

How many times are you going to post this. This is the fifth time the same thing. What's your point? I'm happy with my MH from Camping World. We don't buy extended warranties for anything saves money and headaches.

We understand your frustration. (Also, welcome to the Forum). We haven't bought a Motor Home from CW, but had a very bad experience with their service dept. Seems like you would have gotten your refund way before now. Like at least by the middle of June.

Seems every manufacture I researched claimed to be the top selling #1seller. You bought a nice motor home but I can guarantee it will not be trouble free. They had about a 13% market share that leaves 87% bought other rigs. Anyway you need to contact the warranty Co. and find out about your money or post in the Dear Marcus forum. Have you had any contact with the warranty people?

So, I spent a couple minutes on the CW website and pulled this from their "Terms & Conditions" -
GUARANTEE: This is not an insurance policy. We have obtained an insurance policy to insure Our performance under this Service Agreement. Should We fail to pay any claim or fail to replace the product covered under this Service Agreement within sixty (60) days after product has been returned or, in the event that You cancel this Service Agreement, and We, fail to refund the unearned portion of the Service Agreement price, You are entitled to make a direct claim against the insurer, Wesco Insurance Company, at 1-866-505-4048 or 59 Maiden Lane, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
So, if you think you are at the end of the world with CW, contact Wesco and make a claim.
Good Luck,

Two whole posts, both the same. Smells like a very poor job of shilling combined with a slam of CW.

We bought our TT from CW and have no problems with it. We also bought the extended warranty. We've been told by the sales manager and finance guy there that we could cancel our plan and get a refund. Most recently from the sales manager, when we were looking at a motorhome last year. Matter of fact, the sales manager even was putting that in the contract and discounting the cost of the motorhome with that refund.
Have you contacted the CW directly where you bought it? Have you contacted the extended warrany people asking where the refund was?

I don't know much about them but I can assure you that I don't know of any dealer or manufacture that is worry free. There can be hiccups in any purchase and anything can go wrong once you buy one.
If this is truly just an issue with getting your refund from CW, why not post it in the Dear Marcus section instead of here and stand a better chance of getting fast resolution? Marcus and his team have a pretty good response time to issues posted like this. He can surely give you a better answer than we can here in the General Rv'ing Issues forum.
