My slide will not close completely on the one end and is sitting 3 inches from the trailer but the other end is completely closed. There was some knocking noises and it felt like it was catching on something, but I cannot see where the problem is. We are wondering if we should try opening slide up completely again and trying to close it again? Or do we dare drive the trailer now to the RV repair shop with the slide not completely in? We were supposed to leave tonite for our vacation and not sure where to start? Any/all help is appreciated.

should have adjustment bolt on outside under trailer slide floor. Usually a 3/4 size bolt head. Look at the two arms that extend the slide room, and on top of each arm will be one or two bolts that you simply loosen up to be able to adjust the slide in or out more. Loosen up and then push that side inward more, then tighten bolts back
Was lucky and got it into a dealership today. They just called and informed me that somehow the gear came off the track... sure wonder how something like this happens??? Thanks for the advise Mobilefleet.
