I have to store our Class C motor home in our tractor barn at our farm for 6 weeks while it is waiting to have the cabover leak repaired. Are there any tips or anything I can do to keep mice and other varmit out of the camper while it is waiting? The barn is basically three walls and a roof so it is open for any critters to get in. They seem to leave the farm tractors alone but not sure what they will do with the camper. Any ideas?

Pure peppermint oil saturated into cotton balls placed in a spray can lid, get it from GNC for about $7 a bottle. Read it on here and tried it. Have my 5er in a storage shed on a farm and have not seen a rodent inside since I started using it. Going on 2 years now.

I've put an ultrasonic mouse deterrer under our various TT's, stored outside, for about 20 years now. It runs 24x7x365 when not on the road. Never had mice damage. Note we enjoy watching foxes, owls, hawks, and once an eagle (wow!), catch mice in front yard. They are here, just not in house (two ultrasonics in crawl space) or in TT. We DO get some in the garage, as ultrasonics are basically line of sight, and we have lots of junk.

Cab Fresh and Peppermint oil. Put some glue traps down inside just in case and check on them; replace if necessary. Fill all cracks, holes, etc with steel wool and/or foam spray.

There was an entry last year on this. Yes, be sure to use PURE PEPPERMENT OIL as noted above in several areas of the RV including the basement.

Where I store my TT at my house I put mothballs around the OUTSIDE of the TT, mostly where anything is touching the ground - tires and jack, stabilizers if they are down. So far so good.

If per chance you travel with a kitty cat or two in the coach, I bet you will not have anything to worry about.
It seems to me that mice wil not come in where cats have been living.
it even works at our stick home. Mice come in the garage and pilfer but have not come into the house for going on 14 years. I did not want to say 13.
