Today a nice young family with a huge toyhauler back into the site next to me. This evening the dad and I strike up a conversation and about rving and in the midst of it he says "I read a lot of posts about trailers and toyhaulers on line on a forum". What forum? RV.net...neat another forum member to talk to. He is usually on the toyhauler forum for obvious reasons but we had a great time chatting for an hour or more. Really fun to meet someone face to face for a change. So, Beachpirate, it was great visiting and hope to see you again some time.

I actually met two folks from this forum this past week while camping. It was unusual but nice to put a face with the screen name. Both were very pleasant folks.

some years back the forum would give out by request small stickers for the TT window so others could tell you were forum members. I don't think they are doing it any more.

I have had one of those stickers on my rear window for years but no-one has ever commented on it, or visited us who mentioned they were an RV net member. Our Vermont license draws more comments than the RV.net sticker.

I have had a "I post on RV.net" decal on my toad window for several years. Have yet to have any one identify themselves. Have had a few want to know what that means. I usually try to get those interested. It amazes me how many folks are afraid some one is going to steal their information. I usually tell them I have been at it for over 10 years and have not had a problem, but it has saved me big $$$$ in free advice and new friends.
