I just turned my water pump on and found I have a leak which turned out to be a broken valve in the line under the sink going to the out side shower.Since I'm camping in norwalk ohio about 1200 miles from home,I'm hoping someone in the area would know of a place to purchase parts. Thanks Dan

Sounds like you can cap off the line until parts can be obtained.
The big box stores have pex crimping tools, end caps and copper crimp rings. The gatorbite or sharkbite connectors are easier but not sure they have one that caps off a line. A pipe cutting tool is real nice to have too for nice clean cuts.

Sharkbites at Home Depot OR Gatorbites at Lowes.
Fast, easy install and works great. Large assortment of fittings/valves/caps etc.

Thanks for the advice.I found a home depot in ashland about 30 miles south.Since I'm heading to mohican state park tomorrow I'll check there.Checked all the places around norwalk with out any luck. You would think you could find a cap just to block the line, but its an off size.If someone from the area here or near loudonville knows of a camping supply store please post thanks.

If you just need to temporarily cap off the line any auto parts store would have a small hose clamp and some gasket material that could be tightly rolled and inserted in the pipe. Then use the hose clamp to crimp and tighten the seal. A short piece of wood dowel could also be inserted in the pipe and clamped.

I was able to plug the line untill I'm able to find a new valve.Since I'm only half way through my trip I was hoping to find the part,as I would hate for my repair to let loose while using the shower.
