Do yourself a favor and search the forums for Red Max Pro. It's magic for older rigs.

If it isn't metal (you should be able to determine that) than its a 90% chance that its fiberglass/gelcoat. The Red Max Pro or Zep application will amaze you.

Along in the 93 GBM years, if I'm correct, I believe a GBM was a Fleetwood product, & most of those had outer gelcoat fiberglass walls.
The end caps, could be made the same way or could be a formed type of gelcoated plastic.
Look real close at the wall & end caps & see if you can see any strands of fiberglass in them. Even though the out sides will be smooth, fiberglass still has a different look to it than metal or plastic.

What ever you do, wax, Red Max or Zep, dont put anything on it until you have cleaned it perfect, to get all the dead stuff off down to the rich colors that were there when new.

I would use a clay bar, either medium or fine, to clean off bugs, debris, and oxidation. Once that is done, and the surface is as smooth as glass, which it will be, then any of the fine automotive waxes on the market will work. Clay bars are available at any large automotive supply store, or online from places like Griots, etc.
