Well on my 1966 Avion all the windows are Jalousie Windows. The two front ones leak while driving in the pouring rain. And the side ones are sticky, and the new gearboxes I put in, stripped out this trip... Even had to tape shut one of the side windows due to the wind was pulling it open in the rain...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If it makes any difference the gear operators are the notched "Phillips" operators.
Thanks!

Garryk, even on my brand new Northern Lite camper the little gearing was sticky and galling. You could tell they'd wear out.
I took the cover off the gears and greased them using a small paint brush. Also grease the arm extensions and little slide roller at the ends too.

Thanks everyone! I'll look into those things as soon as we can unload the TC. We got off the ferry this AM at 10;45. After I got off work, (had to go in for a bit) I ran out to the scales and with all the shopping included we scaled in at 11,000 lbs. Boy am I glad that I put on the 19.5's! ;-)

Well last night I took apart the operator on the stripped gearbox. I had a spare gear box, then I WD-40'd every pivot point, then cycled everything many to RS. The windows now operate very smooth.
But a second question... The very small weather stripping around each panel, where do you get that, and how in the world do you change it without completely dismantling the whole window?
Thanks!

garry, the sight I listed has different types weatherstriping. I need to order some myself. some of it can be replaced by saoping it up good and put one side of the leg in the groove, then push the other side in with a putty knife.
