I have a 2005 Seneca 35 gs. My driver side slide (dinette) will not close. Just makes a clicking noise. The other slides open and close fine. Any suggestions? If it makes any difference, the engine will not start either-likely dead batteries. I am hooked up to shore power, and it is working(microwave works). Please help. My wife is at our permanent site, and I am not, so I will have to try all options later today, or in morning. Thank you.

Get a cheep multimeter cheek battery's most likely very low get a battery charger charge them. Most likely you been sitting for a long time and you converter can't keep up a good charge. When mine sits for a long time I keep my battery tendor plug up always ready to go at a minutes notice.
Try starting the engine with the auxilary start button (hold it down while turning the key) and see if the slide closes. If the engine doesn't start then all your batteries are low/dead.

I was able to start the engine with the auxiliary battery. My slide will not retract, still. All of the other slides work. When I hit the "in" button for the slide, there is no noise, nothing. When I press the "out" button, I hear the normal noise from the slide motor for1-2 seconds. Any thoughts?
If it's not even clicking when you push the in button it could be any number of things. Loose wire, bad control module, bad switch. What happens if you keep bumping the switch?
You can bring it in manually by turning the brake handle on the motor and using a ratchet on the end of the shaft in the basement compartment. Once you bring it in re-lock the brake and then put in the travel bars.
