Does anyone own one? Is it worth it? I live in Texas, I need all the help I can get.

We don't own one YET however I did a ton of research and ordered one about 3 weeks ago. Should have it in a couple more weeks I hope.

I ordered one for the front windshield, driver's window, passenger's window and front door window. They work very well and look good. So good, that I got a big one to cover two side windows. The only thing I don't like is, except for the windshield, all the others are secured by magnets which are on the outside of the windows.

We had one made for the Phaeton windshield because I now have to do everything by my self. Loved it!!! Once I figured out a way to fold it for storage so the magnets did not attach themselves to each other this made it even easier to install! That one cost $450.00. Current one all ready has the snap type so will see how that goes.

..This is one of the first things we bought when we got our MH. Love the MagneShade, and highly recommend them.

Extremely easy to put up - no ladders or snaps needed. Just use the pole it comes with to lift top corners up, everything pops right into place with magnets. Doesn't get any easier. Taking it down is even easier - just pull gently, it comes right down.

Really like how it allows you to see out the windshield just fine, yet blocks out a lot of the sun's heat. Also like that its made here in the US, actually right here in North Carolina.

Only downside I know of: They are not cheap, as I'm sure you've already seen.

Now, as to whether or not its 'worth it': That depends on so many factors specific to each individual, its really impossible to answer. Only you can answer that for you.

It was definitely worth it for us. I did NOT want to have to climb ladders or install snaps. And, we camp frequently in hot climates, so anything we can do to keep the inside cooler is good.

I'm actually thinking now about ordering the ones they have for the side windows.

We really like ours and they do make a BIG difference in the heat.
One other thing they are great to work with after the sale also. I messed up one of the holes and used the "oops" screw/snap they send you originaly and then had a second hole that wouldn't hold the screw. I called up and figured I would get a few of the screws to make the shipping worth while and a couple of original size too. Gal verified my address and then said you will have them in a few days. Asked don't you need my credit card? She says no don't worry about we will take care of it! 3 days later screws were in the mail box no charge!

Oh and I bought the screens on one of their clearance sales so I wasn't even a full price customer!
