Anyone have any input on the Allegro Breeze. Any comparable vehicles?
We are looking at the 2012 Allegro Breeze 28, and don't want to go any or much longer
The other part of my question didn't go thru the first time. I've gotten mixed reviews on the brakes and that it may or may not handle well in the wind. Any owners out there who can comment on this.
If we do get one we would put a stablizing bar in.
Thanks

Tiffin has great reputation for quality and service. Also look at the Winnebago/Itasca new 30T. Saw one at the RV/MH Hall of Fame & Museum and you get LOTS of living space in a 31 foot motorhome.
Very impressive, and Winnebago has great rep as well.
If you post this question on the Tiffin Owners section of iRV2, you will get lots of feedback directly from owners.
Happy Trails!

Looked at one at a dealer and RV show. Overall very nice but the Navigator said no. She down checked the small round kitchen sink as non-functional for our travel needs.

My CEO/Navigator said the same as Dale.Traveling about the smaller Breeze. She also thought there was not near enough interior closet and storage space. They now make a slightly larger one that looks promising, but I think it had a small towing capacity and a small fuel tank, but I might be thinking about another one.

They've made changes - that sink,for one.
The newer 32 foot Breeze is the HOT ONE. The initial 28 foot model had some problems, but it seems the 32 footer is very good - believe me, the 4 feet won't be a bother.

There is a problem with the Navistar and Tiffin will likely have to change it out to Cummins

What is the basis of your information? The 2013 Breeze continues to use the MaxForce 7, albeit with higher horsepower and an exhaust brake than the 2012 models. Navistars problems concern mostly the large over the road engines - which Tiffin does not use in any application.

There is no problem with the Navistar MF 7 as used in a number of downsized diesel motor homes.
Another to consider is the Monaco Vista or Holiday Rambler Trip. Both are very modern design and use the same MF7 engine as the Breeze. I have a friend who traded a '08 Allegro Bus for a new Vista and he is super happy with it.
