Well since there is a very scant chance of a hurricaine this year I just knew they would invent some other "reason" that I am spose to believe.

Gas and diesel here in WV has been going up steadily for the last month. Yesterday when I was out gas was $3.79 and diesel was $3.95 a gallon. About a month ago, gas was $3.39 and diesel was $3.49. I'm tired of getting gouged at the pump to pad these oil companies bank accounts but what can we do?

Living here in the Chicago area, we are the proud payers of the highest gas prices in the country. Every time one of the refinery workers cuts himself shaving, the prices go up here. We're at $4.19 now!!

And we wonder why the US economy is still dead in a ditch. If there are any signs of improving, oil goes up, and any profits made by smaller businesses are then sucked away, which drops us back down.

It started out as a small leak. It started on fire during there so called fix. Standard Oil is not new to this. They have the know how and ability to prevent this from happening only if they want to. In this case they did not want to. It was to their advantage to let it happen. The timing was right to make a huge profit from a so called accident!

Price jumped .14 cents yesterday. It will take 3 weeks for it to come down 14 cents. If it ever does again. Thieves!

If the price jumped at the pump, that's not the oil company, that's the station owner - and yes, most gas stations are not owned by the oil company but by a separate jobber.
