C'mon folks use it.When you go someplace and camp at an RV park, please do a review on their site. It's very frustrating to look there and see there are two or three parks in a 10-15 mile radius and when you get there, there are 5-6 and a couple of them are better than the one you're staying at.
I don't have anything to do with the operation of that site,I only use it.

yes, wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone added their review. However, with a bit of research of the area you are going to, you should be able to find any and all parks. Use the State park guide (on line) for each state, in addtion get the state you are going to private campground book - found at Visitor centers, online or by calling and lastly do a websearch "RV parks "your town here" or "campgrounds - your town here." Some people prefer not to post to the nice places for fear they will be full when they want to return, others don't know to do so or are too busy.

Maybe you could suggest to them to post a listing of EVERY campground, and if no review, simply state no reviews.........oh wait! access to that site is free...they would then have to charge an access fee.....we use if for what it is...a free site that provides some insight into what some cgs are like. When we are selecting a place to visit, we look at ALL the campsites available selecting three or four as possibilities. We then look at their websites to narrow it down. Then we go to RVParkreviews.com to see if anyone has reviewed it. Finally we look at the posters other reviews to see if they are consistent..i.e. do they give every CG a "9"..or do they complain about every CG etc....we use it as a separate tool, not the only one....but, yes, I do wish more people would review the parks they stay in....only takes a minute or so....Dennis

Sometimes, I think it would be easier if the review website had just a point system and not a narrative. Some people will not give a score based on the ammenities that they encountered, but their overall score reflects because the campground didn't have a certain ammenity, like wifi. They will deduct points for that, when its posted on the review site and ther parks website that its not available. Really shouldn't take away a score for it.

Likewise. Rvparkreviews is a big help but I do not rely on that information alone.
I also agree with wbwood in that some reviewers will knock down an otherwise great park for one or two minor items.
