Looks like I fried the board on my microwave by being lazy and using the wrong bulb for the range light. There was a flash of light then even the right bulb wouldn't work. RV guy helped me remove it while he was here for other things and it's being checked out now but it looks like it's probably a friend board. So I'm faced with the decision of fixing it or getting a new ont. Seems like I might as well get a new one but everything else works on the old one, fan, everything.
Guy just called. Board is bad. $151 to fix. So...found another on like it on eBay for $180 (includes shipping). Just concerned about mounting it, don't know about screwing things into RV walls.
Any suggestions? Temping to just fix this one since the brackets are already there. I hardly ever use the microwave, a few seconds a week to reheat something to eat, so maybe it's got some life left in it. I mostly miss the range light.
How long do they usally last? Seems like no big deal to not have a rage light but after two years it gets old.
Thought about those push lights but then you're dealing with batteries...
Go to Walmart or other big box store and pick up a microwave of the correct size for (usually around $50.00 to $75.00). Not sure I understand the connection between your light bulb and the microwave though Can't even remember the last time I had to replace the range light bulb in any of my trailers and we often use it as a night light while watching TV. 12 volt bulbs are not very likely to burn out.

Bulb burned out in mine. Kept it for 2 years, just used an LED flashlight to check contents when necessary. When I traded, just told them the bulb was burned out.
Mine did the same thing. The bulb shorted out and burned the trace on the board. I soldered a piece of wire over the burned part of the trace. Works good now and cost me 3 cents plus a half hour of my time. Of course it helps that I have worked on electronics for a long time.
