Hello all. I just picked up my 1st TT. A 184BH. It took awhile of searching/comparing before I decided on this one. Price/features fit best into my budget. Still familiarizing myself with everything and will be taking it out for a couple weekends at local sites until I'm more comfortable with it. These forums have been a big help and I appreciate it. Hopefully as I get more experience with everything I'll be able to return the favors to others. I have two very young sons and look forward to a lot of fun times.
Tow Veh. is 07 Toyota Tacoma 4dr.

Fun - enjoy!

I wish I could settle on one...but not yet. It's still fun researching and looking...

We had a trailer similar to yours (a palomino puma 19FS) when we first got into the RV world, and had a great time with it...upgraded to our signature unit only because the first trailer had the 'main' bed stuffed into a corner with part of the opening blocked by the bathroom such that wife and I had to actually crawl into the bed...

anyway, we started in 2010 when our son was four....now, what I get all the time is, 'daddy? when are we going to the trailer again?'...making better memories for him and for us than we would sitting home all the time

re. your tow vehicle...we had an '09 4.0 liter tacoma pulling our first trailer...it was within weight limits, but soon upgraded to a tundra 4.6 liter v8 because it just didn't have quite enough 'ooomph'...that said, our trailer was slightly bigger and considerably heavier than what you have...i'm sure you'll be fine...

have fun, and use it as much as possible! for us, both my wife and I work full-time but we've still found time for about 12 weekend trips and three longer (4 night or more) trips just in the past year

Congratulations on your Jayco 184bh.
I think you'll find all you need too know and learn about it here as there are several of us. We all seem to be very satisfied w/our 184s.
