We also have jobs lined up for 2013 at our first choice. Called and spoke with the owner he asked for our resumes which were emailed after a phone interview received an offer.

We are new to workamping and at our first position now. We saw a blip on RV.NET. I emailed them and got a phone call. We worked out when and got the position.

Last winter while in Phar, Texas we walked into a RV Park in Mission and asked if they hired workampers. The manager was there and interviewed us on the spot. She pulled our resume off of Workamper.com and hired us starting November 1 of this year thru April 15 of 2013.

Today I called a place that I had seen advertise last year and she talked with me for about 1/2 hour on the phone. I am sending our resume to her and hoping to start around Memorial Day of 2013.

My advise is drop in and ask or call. If they wish, send a resume.

Here is what we do.....pick an area or two you like. Find several parks or jobs and call them. Discuss their needs and what you have to offer. If they want a resume send it and then call again. Find out when they make their selections for the positions and contact them a week or two before that. Once you fijnd the job you like or want call or email every couple of months and reassure everyone that everything is still on track. Mainly keep in touch. Yes stuff happens but the sooner everyone knows there are problems the sooner they can be dealt with. We have never backed out and when we got offered a position and we were already committed we asked them to put us at the top of the list for the following year. So far it has worked out well.
