I would like to let everyone know that we finally received our refund after 3 months from Camping World on the cancelled extended warranty for our other motor home we sold in May. I appreciate all the helpful post that were made for our concerns.

Unless we all want to search your past posts we will have no idea what this is about. I'll save everyone the bother, here is the original thread;

I really think it is unfair to bash a company publicly before giving them adequate time to satisfy your request. Obviously they did the right thing, you were just impatient. Sometimes the business world moves a little slower than some people understand.

Three months? That's totally unsat! Glad it worked out.

Oh, seems it's okay to pay immediately before you even get out the door, but take THREE MONTHS for a refund. That's a bit unreasonable - most business turn over the books at least once a month, so thirty days may be a reasonable time, but three months is too long for any refund.

Now days when any check you write shows up in your bank the next day, I think even 30 days is to long.

I agree. Money transfers from one account to another instantaneously now, and three months is indicative of a company that is more interested in TAKING your money than it is in RETURNING it. And what I think is unfair is bashing a customer with a legitimate issue, while trying to give a free pass to a company where the customer seems to come SECOND.

Thanks you so much as I am sure I was fair in what was said. You don't know all the trouble we went thru just to get our refund. So glad most all of you agree with me.

You are is a trouble maker that people don't need to read your replies. Most everyone agrees that 3 months is way too long for this refund from Camping World. Why don't you try to get along with people instead of trying to cause trouble all the time. You need to get a life. If a company held your $3000.00 refund check for 3 months I am sure you would be upset also. As they sure didn't pay interest to use it for 3 months. Anyway glad we got refund and we won't have to deal with Camping World any more.

I made no disparaging remarks toward or about you. I would appreciate if you do the same. This is a public forum and we are all entitled to our opinions.

As someone that works in the business world daily I don't feel your situation is unique. Paperwork gets lost, people go on vacation, after that person works through the stack of papers on their desk and gets to yours; guess what, now they have to get approval from their supervisor who is now on vacation, someone doesn't return a phone call, things just plain happen.
