We had a chinese tire throw a belt on I-49 in Louisiana today. Called GS ERS and got put on hold for well over a half hour. We were right at the Exit 46 in one mile sign, going south. After an ridiculous amount of questions about where we were and maybe 45 minutes on the phone they flat out told us we were out of luck, no service for us.

Now I could maybe understand this if I was 50 miles out on the Hole in the Wall road near Escalante UT. Not that we'd have a cell phone signal but we were on an Interstate not that far from Opalousas and Lafayette.

Last year were were right on the Florida Georgia border on I75. Another spot not exactly on the far side of beyond, when we had a flat on a different TT. This time we were told it would be 90 minutes before the truck got there. They never showed up. Calling GS ESE got the reply that they would check into it and get right back to us. They never did.

We ended up changing the tire ourselves. Something is rotten in GS ESE land.

i had a flat just east of little rock and changed it. 15 or so miles later had another (on south loop near LR airport. called for assistance. took an hour to locate someone and another 2 for them to get there (they had problems locating a tire).
the response time left something to be desired.
my flat was close to 4 in the afternoon on a week day. i know how u feel

Well I have a Honda 2K and a pancake compressor in the back of my truck but the generator was out of gas otherwise I would have done it myself with a torque wrench. I have a good spare.

This was about 1 in the afternoon midweek so no real excuse I can see.

I had the exactly the same experience as you with GS Road Service only I was further up the road on I-95 on the South Carolina, Georgia border. No one ever showed up. I ended up changing the tire myself. What gives here? It was a very frustrating experience.

Last time I looked, South Carolina and Florida do not "border" each other. Do you have new map???

I can say the same for CoachNet. I was on the 101 on the Olympic Pennisular in Washington. They could not find a person to service my RV, after an hour or so they called the campground I was in and got the campground handyman to help, I had to pay. Previously, for all my young life, I had AAA. When I called for car trouble outside of Las Vegas they towed me to a "safe" location...a gas station, and then returned to tow me to Victorville 3 hours later...within the guidelines of the service contract. However, it was now Saturday evening after 5pm so I had to call family to take me home and Chevy could not look at my car until Monday morning. Again...Emergency...they made me safe.
It's "Emergency Roadside Service" so I guess they will call 911 for you.
I now have Good Sam. I don't expect much so I truly hope they will meet my expectations should I ever need their service.
Even better, I hope I have wasted my money and will NEVER need ERS from anyone. But I have it...now I have GS.
Happy Trails.

I recommend that if you ever receive bad service anywhere, to let the company know about it. Keeping going up the ladder until you actually have voiced your matter to somone who is actually listening and can make a difference. Personally, I would call and speak to someone. And only after that, if i did not receive a satisfactory reply, then I would use the internet to get th point across. A lot of times, people running the company or services of the company don't know about things that are said or done when they are not around. There could be a lousy employee or a disgruntled one trying to bring down the company. How many people that get negative service actually reports it to a higher authority? I would say its a very low percentage. Businesses can not fix things that they are unaware of.

Zach has once again stepped up to find out what happened. I've yet to see anyone repost that GSERS has not solved their issue(s) after speaking with Zach.
