There's a reasonable solution. Make the wrong decision right. Travel safe.

Well now you know where you are at instead of just guessing. As you can see campers get heavy really quickly.
Good luck

If faced with having to carry 10 lbs. of sand in a 5 lb. sack, would you...
a. make two trips
b. be satisfied with 5 lbs of sand
c. get a bigger sack

That is surprising to me that 3,000 lbs went on the rear axle and only 300 lbs went on the front axle.
I would have thought that an 8-1/2' camper in an 8' bed would have put more weight on the front axle.
Well, looks like you are under the GVAWR's, but dry and with no gear.

Hi Billy,
A recent discussion was just held on this subject. It sounds like you have 2 logical options: buy a 1 ton SRW and $6000 in bigger wheels, airbags, etc (as you'll still be too heavy for the SRW) or buy a dually and have peace of mind.
We looked at your unit up in Tomahawk and ran the weights. We would have been 700lbs overweight.
This is JMO from someone who is new at this, but have done my research. No matter how hard you try, the weights don't change.
So far you TC experience has been frustrating, don't make it worse by trying to fit a large TC on too small a truck.
I don't care what Adventurer says...most of their TCs are too large for a 2500 or even a 1 ton SRW without many expensive mods. I told them that they should stop advertising them as such. It's misleading. RUN THE WEIGHTS.
