I know theres a vent on the black tank and the fresh water tank, but I've been wondering how the gray tank vents when filling with liquids? Any ideas?

Most likely through the roof, there should be two vent caps up there. One is the black tank and the other is grey.

Vent is likely to the roof but location would depend a lot on your RVs configuration. If you have a separate galley tank vs a combined gray and galley tank.

If overfilling tells any tales, the tank vents from the shower onto the floor and out the cracks between the floor and slide!

Not familiar with your truck camper but a quick check on the roof for number of vent caps should solve mystery......one or two vent caps?

Two.......then each tank has it's own vent line
Only one......then both tank vent lines tie together before being routed to roof vent OR grey tank only uses a cheater valve (air admittance valve) located downstream of 'P' trap. Look under sink and check out sink drain line.

Mine is hidden in the fridge area. It extends up to the bottom of the fridges roof vent and just dead ends. Works great and no roof hole.

It's not uncommon for the black and gray tanks to share the same vent.

Well this is all good info...I only have one roof vent so assumed it was for the black tank only. Further investigation is needed, but likely the black and gray vent to the same vent.

Thanks for all your input!
