Dear Marcus,
Wouldnt it be a good idea to have campsites at all camping world locations?
We would love to shop & camp at the same time.

What would you be willing to pay for full hookups?

About all of them let you Dry camp overnight.
Bowling Green KY's old store even had a few free electric hook ups.
The one in Indiana has some Free electric hook ups. I have used them a couple times when I had a early AM appointment for a install.
They may be more CW stores with free electric also.

Many of the newest CW locations are former independent RV sales businesses that never thought of supplying and kind of camping spot for those who were interested in buying or who needed service. An example is the second location in Myrtle Beach. The original, on Rt 501, has several camping sites available, I believe with water and electric. The newer location, on Rt 544, has no place they could possible provide this.

Some Camping World locations are prohibited by public ordinance from allowing overnight camping. Sadly, our local CW in Valencia used to have an open dump station and a few hookups. When a major shopping center opened around them, and I think tried to force them out, CW had to remove the hookups and close the dump to public access. Los Angeles and Los Angeles County are not real RV friendly destinations.

CW already has a problem with customers exploiting CW's goodwill by leaving their RVs in the parking lot for several weeks after service has been completed (aka: free storage of their RVs). My favorite CW store is Wilsonville, OR. They have had to cover their backside by placing several tow-away warning signs around the property.

It would be nice if CW would post a list of the stores that allow overnight parking and perhaps a dump station.
I read somewhere online that the CW near us has a dump station, but I have never seen it. I need to go there this week anyway, so I might look again.

If you go on line to which ever CW that you are near or want and look at the box that says RV service it will be listed if they have overnight camping or facilities, listed along with the the other service they perform.
