Not in Scottboro but close is DeSoto state park. Very nice state park with full hookups and exceptional sites. Plenty of other things to see in the area also. There are numerous other state parks and other parks nearby.

Are you a Coast-to-Coast member? There are two RV resorts in Langston, Ala., on Lake Gunterville about a half-hour away. Plus there are a couple of other RV campgrunds in the same area plus Lake Gunterville State Park.

If you did a search, why did you discard
Goosepond and Crawford? I have stayed
at Goosepond, years ago, and liked it.
Crawford LOOKED suitable. (By the way,

We stayed at Lake Guntersville SP. Liked it very much.

I took an incredible amount of ridicule from my family for taking them to Unclaimed Baggage, but they all bought something once we got there. Go figure.

I would recommend Guntersville State Park. It is open now. We like to eat dinner at the lodge and watch the raccoons on the outdoor patio. We are inside of course...
