AAA in the USA changes as you travel through different areas of the country. What is covered in our home state is not covered in other states. Read the fine print and ask those questions!! We use Coachnet and are very happy with it. May you never need them!!!

I had a flat tire last winter about 3 miles south of Boulder City headed to Laughlin, called the number on the back of my CAA RV card, long story short, service truck sent from Las Vegas and I was on the road, tire changed in about 1 hr. Couldn't have asked for better service.

After many many years with CAA + RV I just changed over to Good Sam. Had no complaints with CAA but I have not had reason to use them in over 10 years either. For the coverage and the vehicles I wanted covered there was a considerable price difference, especially now that the Cdn. dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar.

I'd recommend staying away from CAA RV. We had a flat several years ago and they sent someone within a reasonable amount of time to fix it but a few years ago we broke down in rural NC and they were absolutely worthless. For some reason, they couldn't confirm that we had RV+ on our account (which we had) and wouldn't send someone (even after we said we'd pay for it out of pocket and seek reimbursement later). They couldn't even tell us who in our area we could call for a tow and service.
Since then, we've switched to CoachNet which I believe is cheaper and offers better coverage (I believe it covers all vehicles for all family members).

We have Coachnet and have used it twice in Canada with good results. It covers all our vehicles including our fifth wheel at a reasonable price. We also have CAA al la carte for trip planning and discounts.
