So the FACTORY made a lemon. You worked with the MFG (warranty) to try to get it resolved, but it was the DEALER that "ripped you off"?
I have bought 4 RVs over the years, and have never felt "ripped off" I understand in retrospect, that I paid more than I had to for the first one, but was I ripped off? No, I just did not negotiate as well as I could have, in effect, if I was "ripped-off" I did it to myself.
John, you will find there are a lot of people here who love to scream they were ripped off and take no responsibility for not doing a bit of homework before buying something as big as a new rv - I have seen countless threads here with OP's screaming they were ripped off but when you start getting the real details from them, there are a lot of thiNGs they didn't disclose at first that could have proactively been avoided.
Dealers have to make money to stay in business like everyone else. People can be a peculiar bunch sometimes. They will pay thousands of dollars for an RV, and scream and cry foul if they can't find free walmart parking for overnighting.
There truly are some RV's that simply put were lemons. But most of the issues I have heard here are issues that can be fixed by the manufacturer and most of the time the manufacturer or dealer does try to work wtih the customer. If they never did, they would never sell anything much less get repeat business.
