Morning. I have a 1996 itasca suncruiser 38ft with hwh levelers. All jacks are down solid, but ihave a noticeable vibration when walking in mh. It does have 4 air bags, small, on the rear that i assume are for road leveling. theres nothing in my manual about them. There is a red low air light on dash but has never lit up. RV tech told me it would do no good to put any stabilizers on it. What could be wrong with it?

I'm guessing this is diesel. Dump the air in the bags and then try leveling. Remember do not let the rear tires come off the ground.

If there is air in them when you level, I can see where the coach might maybe shake.
How do you check the air in the bags and how much air psi are you suppose to run in them? Think if I were you I'd be checking around to find out just what kind of air bags they are and how they should be used.

When i turn on the ignition key you can hear the compressor running for a few min. I turned the valve and it was stopped up so cleaned out valve and let air out. You could hear mh settling down. Releveled mh but dw not home to walk across floor. I myself cant feel it moving.

Try to lessen the throwout on the levelers. If they extend too far, they become less "solid" and the coach can have some movement. An easy fix are some 4x4 wood blocks under each jack. They also sell some stackable kind at WalMarts and such. Should help.

You have one of those rare Itasca/Winnebago gas motorhomes with the factory optional air ride on the rear axle. The air bags should deflate when parked and the jacks down.

kansas, I feel the jiggle too. My air bags do not deflate completly when the jacks go down. There is some air release (can hear it) but once the jacks level me out the the air leak sound has stopped. Now, over time, the bags will go completely flat (3-4 days).
Agree with the other poster about the 12 x 12 blocks under each jack. The less shiny ram showing seems to settle the jiggle a bit. It is never gone though. I attribute the jiggle to the extra long overhang on the chassis. With the rear jacks at the duallies, there is nothing suppoting the remaining 8' of moho. In fact, I've considered using a bottle jack or jack stand at the rear bumper to see if that takes some of the jiggle out. Someday I'll experiment with that.

Ive been toying with it for awhile now. Tried others advice and it has helped out. I do have a tag axle so no overhang problems. Its really not to bad just annoying to me.
