Wow... time sure does fly when remembering certain milestone from one's past.

I was in Jackson Wyoming traveling with my folks in our home-built TT when I heard the news. I do not know why this event sticks out to me. I remember the little luncheonette in which we were eating when the news came over the radio.

Do you remember where you were when you heard that Elvis "has left the building?"

I was working as a National Park Ranger in Grand Teton National Park, when one of the other Rangers came down the trail, to where I was at and shared the information. I didn't really believe him until listening to the radio later that day.

The other big deal that summer was a bunch of us NPS people car pooled down to Jackson, to watch this new Science Fiction movie that had been getting a lot of attention that August, Star Wars.
