Being a Winter Texan and traveling to the Rio Grande Valley for the winter I enjoyed that there was a Camping World Store in the area. The CW store was only a 10 minute drive from the resort where I stay and was very handy for the thousands of Winter Texans that are there. I just recently heard from a friend down there that the the store has closed, I am very disheartened that this has happened and I believe that the thousands of people that will be there this winter will also be upset. The nearest CW store or service facility is now a 7 hour drive to New Braunfels north of San Antonio.
Is there any way that you and the other powers to be can change your mind and reopen the CW store or consider building a new one in the same area. Hope to hear back, Thank you.
That store was one of the FEW that actually made any sense. CW probably isn't a major player in most local communities but in one where MOST of the business was from folks from all over the country one would THINK they would do pretty well. Probably depends on just where the big bucks are coming from. RV sales, not so much and major repairs, not so much but selling gadgets were probably big time sales and little money.
