Most of the time I use my iphone I have access to wifi so I don't use cell service for data very often. I MAY use 50-80 megs of data a month which is not very much and a pay by usgae would be cost effective. My wife also has a iphone and uses less than me.

And when I inquired about the hotspot for my I Phone I was told I would have to change my present plan which grandfathered unlimited data. I looked at the clerk and said, "do I look that stupid"?

Hey, the smart part of the Phone is not for the Consumer, it is for the Carrier, reverse stradigy., make you think you are getting something, all the time paying more for "what". Like how much Data can a person use on a smartphone?
