thanks for all the responses...we have a campground in Lake Havasu that meets all the critera we want, and we pay $350/mo plus electric..prices seem higher in Yuma.

What campground in Havasu? We might end up in that area during this winter.
Crazy Horse campground in Lake Havasu City.......they are not the cleanest or neatest, but they have a lot of activities that many enjoy...hope you decide to join us..

What size Dog? Sunridge RV Park in the foothills area has everything you wanted at $325.00 + electric per month. They only allow small dogs in the 25# range. New management last year made the park a lot better. This will be our 5the winter there.

We have two dogs, and both are under 25#..so we are good there..I will take a look at their website...thanks..

Cardinal Rule, your catty wampus from us, as we are in Western Sands. You don't mean you were glad to see Max go?

What's a matter with the Escapees Park in Yuma?

(To cheap to buy new)
1990 37 ft 5th wheel that hasn't moved since 1996 (our best home)
1997 33 ft trailer (winter home in much warmer climate)
2005 25 ft M/H (our "stand up B" for traveling)

path 1, absolutely nothing. But you have to understand how they operate. Most sites are "leased" not the correct word but for the lack of a better one. There are some sites that the folks may not be coming for the winter and put their site in the rental pool. So if available you can rent that site. Or if space is available you may dry park until something comes open. In our early years in Yuma we did just that.

Check out Cocopah RV. It has ALL your wants and then some. However, you get what you pay for, so it will be a bit more expensive.

another suggestion, check out Desert Gold rv resort in Brenda, its about 18-20 miles east of Quartzsite off I-10 exit 31. It also has lots of amenities and might be in a lower price point. We stayed there for 3 winters and really liked it. All the streets are recently paved, pool, mini golf, horseshoes and ride your atv from the park into the desert..
There are no parks that I know of in Quartzsite that have a pool.
Also, Black Rock rv resort, also on exit 31, just across the road from Desert Gold. They have pool and many activities.. doesn't hurt to check out them all.

Our group had no problems with the managers. It appears they are trying to address some of the issues raised by the guests. looking forward to getting back to our winter friends.
