I'm considering purchasing an extended warranty contract for my 2003 Country Coach Intrigue. Is one company better than another? ACC looks good on paper. I've read about a lot of bad experiences with these companies. Has anybody had a good experience or found a company they are happy with?

ACC is NOT out of business but I would not recommend it. My biggest problem was with the CEO/President or whatever he is and his attitude.

I switched to Go RV Warranty and haven't had to use them yet. I thoroughly vetted them prior to buying a contract with them as they, as with ALL others have had complaints. I talked with their primary sales rep and then the company VP as well as several emails. I presented them with situations I'd been in in the past and asked what they would've done. In every case I got a clear explanation and whether or not I agreed with them, at least I knew where they and I stand. They didn't try to BS me and I feel good about that.

Since Country Coach is out of business I would look at Good Sam's program!

These contracts are not warranties but rather insurance policies. Generally it is less expensive to put the same money in the bank for repairs.

+1 on the Xtra Ride. I usually do not buy ext warranties on anything, but I did for my used 5er. IIRC, the policy was $1200 for 5 yrs and I have a $100 deductible. It just paid for a new grey tank to the tune of over $1,200, so anything more is gravy. BTW, the owner of the independent RV shop that did the repair said the ins company was easy to work with.
