Hello everyone,
Is it possible to knock the propane tanks off when you jack knife the trailer backing into a space? Thanks so much.

KInd of hard to imagine ever turning sharp enough to damage your LP bottles. If you DID turn that sharp it would likely break the threaded post to which they attach before the bottles themself would be damaged. If you CAN jackknife that sharp I'd look at your set up because it shouldn't be possible.

You hit the front of the trailer with a back corner of the truck before you hit the tanks, in most cases. No reason to ever back-in that sharp.

Thanks so much, yeah when I am backing into the driveway, I cut it sharp sometimes and my wife always yells "you are gonna knock off the propane" . I just need more practice backing in.

Turning too sharply USUALLY can be helped by pulling further forward and starting the turn sooner. Biggest mistake I see in backing is NOT pulling far enough beyond the turning point.
